I am writing to inform you that I will be retiring from the clinical practice of medicine as of December 31, 2025, and my office, Sarcena Medical Group, PLLC, will be permanently closing on that date.

It has been an honor and a privilege to care for you and your family over the past few years. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have place in me as your physician.

To ensure continuity of care, I encourage you to select another position as soon as possible. Records may be sent directly to your new primary care physician or to you upon written request.

If you wish to have a copy of your records sent to you or to another provider or facility, you may submit a written request to this office before the Effective Date. After the Effective Date you will need to submit a request form with the Records Custodian. The release form can be found on their website:

Deborah McCoy, M.D., FACP, FHM

YOUR DOCTOR

Dr. Deborah McCoy is a board certified internist and fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Microbiology at Michigan State University and Masters Degree in Biology at Indiana University, Bloomington. She went on to study medicine at Rush University Medical College in Chicago before completing residency at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. She moved to Texas in 2007 where she has practiced in various settings including primary care clinic , hospital-based medical practice, and held various directorships. She is also a member of various professional societies and has extensive experience in process improvement. Dr. McCoy has over 20 years of experience in the field of internal medicine.
